Description: Building attack from the center of the field and finishing in 4-2-3-1 formation from crossing. The soccer drill also focuses on innervating tactical movements.
Setup: Players are positioned according to their positions. They perform the soccer drill continuously. In the first part they always start from the right side and in the second part from left side. Put a discone where you want them setup on the field. They should see the 4-2-3-1 formation. Lots of balls at half and beside net.
Progression: Coach just says go, players can decide where they go.
Coaching Points:
- If ball goes centrally, supporting player and runs off of them
- Crosses are driven low and hard
- Creativity
Instruction: Drill starts with the 3 players at half in a triangle. They are passing one touch between them, as soon as the coach says a number then the play is live. 1 = left sided winger, 2 = attacking midfielder, 3 = striker, 4 = right sided winger. Whatever number is said, that's the ball that is being played. Any combination can be done, as long as it finishes with a shot at goal.
