Equipment: 4 blue bibs, balls.
Explanation: 7v4. Blue team always starts with the ball. If the reds recover the ball they aim to keep it. 1pt if they make 5 passes. 1pt if they score and goal. Blue team 1 pt if they score.
Objectives: Defensive shape and positioning (red team), keeping the ball after recovery, balance of 'build or break'.
Coaching points: Defensive shape, gaps between the players, pressing and cover, transition from defensive shape to offensive shape.

Equipment: 4 cones (different colours), balls.
Explanation: Coach calls the colour of different cones and the players react by adjusting the team shape relative to the position of the cone. More than one player can be in the same position.
Objectives: Defensive shape, moving as one unit.
Coaching Points: Move together, distances between the players, direct positional understanding of each player (eg. winger move inside, CM stay in central position), communication between players.
