Organization
- Area is 10 x 15
- In the middle of the area create a stopping point either with cones or if in a gym use one of the floor lines.
- 2 yards from goal add a flat disc
- Add a goal at one end of the field and the players start at the other
Activity
- The players start next to eachother opposite the goal, one player with a ball and one without.
- The player with the ball dribbles to the stopping line and stops the ball before running round the flat disc by the goal
- As soon as the ball is stopped the attacking player can take the ball and attempt to score
- The player who started with the ball will then become the defender once they have been around the cone.
Progression
- Add an extra attacker to involve a little more decison making
- The defender starts in bewteen the two attackers
Emphasis
- On toes ready to play
- React quickly
- Drive at speed
- Good first touch out in to the space

Organization
- 3v3 Field
- Two groups of players
- Players line up on opposite sides of the field
- One goal at each end of the field
- Coach stands in a corner with the ball at his feet
Activity
- Both teams number themselves 1 to however many they have in their team
- On the call of their number players on the blue team will run around the goal to their right and then step on to the field calling for the ball from the coach
- The red player will do the same but run around the goal to their right
- The players will then go 1v1 to score
Progressions
- Have the players start in different positions e.g Sat Down
- Call out more than one number at a time
Coaching emphasis
- Be creative to beat the player
- Highlight the need to change speed and direction
- Look for space by keeping head up

Organization
- 30 x 20 area
- Two 5 yard zones at each end of the box
Activity
- 4v4 or 5v5 players attack the end zones attempting to combine before playing a pass to a team mate in the end zone
- To score a point the player must dribble in to the endzone
Progression
- If a team is able to score a point they will then attack the opposite end

- Awareness of players and space

Organization
- 3v3 Size Field
- Each player has a ball
- Players begin in pairs
Activity
- In pairs the players will decide who is the attacker and whos is the defender
- The attacker will attempt to keep their ball away from the defender
- The defender will score as many points as possible in a minute through passing their ball of the attackers
- After a minute the players will switch and the opposite players will have the chance to be the attacker.
Progression
- Take the defenders ball away and make ita simple 1v1 with the player in the ball trying to stay in control and the player without attempting to steal it from them.
Coaching Emphasis
- Keep the ball tight
- Keep body between ball and defender
- Be aware of surroundings
