Organization:
Area 20x30 area divided in two.
2 or 3 team of 4 players.
4 cones with a ball on top as shown.
Instructions:
At coach's signal players must run touch the ball with their hand without knocking it over, shuffle back around the blue cone and up to the next red cone.
First player to finish score a point.
Coaching Points:
Quickly close on the ball.
Slow down on the approach.
Bend your knees, lower body.
Shuffle backward around the cone. (small quick steps)

3 groups of 4 players.
Lots of balls.
Instructions:
Defender pass the ball to attacker and must hold him behind the middle line for 5 second.
Coaching Points:
Deny penetration
Speed of approach
Angle of approach force player on to weak side
Feint to tackle to force a mistake
Progressions:
Defender must stop the pass to second attacker behind him.

Organization:
played on small sided field, split into 2 groups, attackers at halfway line split up into facing each goal, half defenders next to one goal, other half next to other goal, with 2 in the middle with attackers, one facing one goal the other facing the other goal
Instructions:
defender 1 plays to attacker, they play 1v1 to goal, defender 2 (in centre circle) is counting down from 6, after they get to zero they go and help the other defender to make it a 2v1 in favour of the defence, after its finished next player goes and rotate
