Set-Up
8v6 Positional Rondo. A team of 8 have to work the ball from one end of the field to the other and must stay in their zone. A team of 6 have free movement and must win the ball and have 5 seconds to score in either goal. When the ball leaves the field, always restarts from CB.
Reward - If the blue team score a point using all 4 CBs, its worth 2 points
Restrict - CBs have 3 touches from the beginning
Progressions: 3 touches. no zones, open play.
Coaching Points
CBS confidence on the ball, get in positions to receive. Know where the next pass is going.
CMs and FBs support receiving a pass from CBS.
Release the ball ASAP
Problems/Solutions
P- CBS keep losing possession. S- Players around must be in a position of support. Free CB drop behind CB on the ball.

Set up
Attack v Defence. The game always starts with CBS in different scenarios. The team in possession must get the ball over the halfway line. The other team must try to score.

CB Rondo (15 mins)
SET UP
Two CBs on either end of the pitch. 2v1 in the centre. For a point, the ball must travel from one end to the other. CB can pass directly to the other side if possible. If the opposition wins the ball, try to score a goal.
Progressions: CBS have 2 touches. 3 touch
Coaching Points
CBS must move laterally to increase the opportunity to receive a pass. Make yourself available.
Minimise time on the ball, release the ball at the soonest opportunity, don't give the opposition a chance to intercept.
Problems/Solutions
P - Losing possession too frequently S - Make quicker decisions, don't allow the opposition any time.
