Football/Soccer Session (Difficult): 1 Touch Passing

Standard Template (5 mins)

- Dont worry about far cones, that's for a later progression.

- Player at starting (Red) cone passes to player in between the yellow cones, who plays the ball into one of the players at the blue cone.

- Players follow their pass.

- Alternating the pass from yellow to blue. For example, if the yellow passed it the left blue player, the next yellow must pass it to the right blue player.

Standard 1-2 With Pressure (5 mins)

Same as 1-2 progression previously, only now, the player at the yellow clones has a defender providing some passive pressure, leaning into him as he passes the ball back to the starting player, then moving away to receive the 1-2.

- Once the player passes the ball to the blue player, the defender takes his place, and the original starting player becomes the defender.

Advanced 1-2 (10 mins)

A much more complicated progrssion for 1 touch passing. This progression chellenges the players focus, concentration, communication and footwork skills.

- Starting player plays a 1-2 with the yellow player, then passes to the far blue player, who plays a 1-2 with the yellow before passing it to the near blue player who dribbles back.

- Players all follow their passes, with starting player going to yellow cones, and yello player going to far blue etc.

- Passes to blue players alternate from side to side as before.
