Speed and Agility with ball (10 mins)
Organization:
Make with 4 cones a square like 5 yards deep and 3 yards wide.
Instructions:
One player is sprinting from cone 1 till 2 in a diagnol way. At the moment he is at cone 2 he get's the ball from the player in front of the square and is passing the ball back in different ways. After he sends the ball back he is moving backwards to cone 3 and running diagnal to Cone 4 to pass the ball in the player his hands.
After 2 minutes working, players switch.
Ways to pass the ball back:
- Volley inside foot left/right
- Volley laces left/right
- Knee/foot Left/Right
- Chest, knee, foot Left/right
Coaching Points:
- Stay on your toes
- Lock your ankle
- Keep your upperbody straight
- Keep your head up
- Ask for the ball
