SET UP: Gates or shapes scattered across an area. Players work in pairs. Player with the ball tries to dribble through a gate or shape to score a point. Player without the ball tries to steal the ball and do the same. Multiple games in one area.
CONSIDERATIONS: Think about using a ball each with groups that need an easier challenge - Cat and Mouse game as in Level 1 but with the added stimulus of using the gates to score points.

SET UP: Coloured gates or shapes are placed in an area. Players work 1vs1 with each player being given a colour or shape to defend. For example, Player A attacks yellow gates and Player B attacks blue gates. Players need to have the ball in order to attack the gates/shapes. Multiple games in one area.

SET UP: A central target is placed in an area. Players play 1vs1 and attempt to dribble through the central target to score.
CONSIDERATIONS: If play is too congested around the central area, place four cones in the corners of your area and ask players to dribble around one of the four cones before being allowed to attack the central target.

SET UP: 4 benches/bounce-boards placed around the outside of an area. Players play 1vs1. The aim of the exercise is to pass against a bench and then receive the ball back cleanly to score. Opponent tries to steal the ball so that they can do the same.

Level 1
SET UP: One player is the leader, the other is the follower. Leader can dribble anywhere and tries to stay away from the follower. The follower should follow the leader's path. If the follower tags the leader, the two change roles. Multiple games in one area.
