Instructions:
Player A passes to player B at the top of the box.
Player B plays back to player A who plays it out to either play C or D.
Player C/D receives on the run, takes a touch or two, and finishes on goal.

Shooter returns to the back of the line at A.
Coaching Points:
1) Passing technique - Ankle locked, toes up, heel down, never on the ground. Instep should be used for all passes.
2) Maintain speed of play - build up from slow, until players understand the sequence, and aim to achieve game speed passing + finishing.
3) Finishing technique - Ankle locked. If using laces, strike through the middle of the ball, balance and weight over top of the ball, follow through and continue run. If using instep, follow passing technique.
Progressions:
1) Add passive defender behind Player B, who becomes active after shooter is engaged.
2) Allow player B and player C/D without ball, to join the attack (3 v 1 + GK).
3) Allow player B and player C/D without ball, and player A to join attack. Add defender as well. Play until goal is scored, or defensive team is able to clear to half. (4 v 2 + GK).

Progressions:
1) Player who connects pass to target, can now join in the attacking half.
2) Every time a player connects a pass they can now join in the attacking half, creating an overload in the attacking half.
