Objective: To enhance player's comfort with the ball at the feet while turning, dribbling and using "moves".
Instructions: Groups of 10 players. Have each player get a cone and make a circle with one player per cone. Coaches will demonstrate a skill that the players will duplicate at their individual cone. Then they dribble to next cone and do a new skill (roll overs, bells, toe taps, feints, scissors, step overs, turns, pull backs)
Time: 1 minute work, 30 seconds rest/instruction. Total time 10-15 minutes.
Emphasis: Using all surfaces of the foot, ball control in tight spaces, agility, balance, using both feet.

Objective: Use "moves" while dribbling to beat a defender.
Instructions: 3 red defensive players in middle must stay on middle line and can only move side to side to defend their line. 6 attacking blue players try to dribble past the middle line players using "moves". Switch groups every 2-3 minutes.
Time: 2 minute work, 30 seconds rest/instruction. Total time 10-15 minutes.
Emphasis: Using all surfaces of the foot, ball control in tight spaces, agility, moves, dribbling balance, using both feet.

Warm Up - Tag (10 mins)
Objective: Warm up using "tag" game to reinforce agility, acceleration, and feints.
Instructions: 2 groups of 5 players. Attacking player runs at defending player and tries to get through one of two gates without being tagged. Defensive player tries to tag the attacking player. 5 minutes then switch teams. Progression - players hold ball in hand while they attack. Players dribble ball with feet while they attack. Defender tries to win the ball.
Time: Total time 10 minutes.
Emphasis: Change of speed, feints, cutting, turning.
