Screen 1 (20 mins)

8 Blue v 7 Red

Set up - Pitch is divided into thirds ( 2 wide sections and a central zone.

Condition - If the play is started in the right zone it must make its way to the left hand zone before an attack can take place. The ball can travel from side to side as many times as needed, but must be minimum of 1 switch.

Condition 2 - In each of the wide zones a 2v1 can take place butno more than this. This is too encourage ball retention and allow more success on the attacking side.

Set- up - Blue 2-4-2 Red 4-2-1

- Ball starts from the Blue centre backs.

-Work the ball into wide area and look for a deep lying player ie pivot or center back, become the link player.

- Try and work the switch in as high up the pitch as possible. In order to get the defence of guard.
