Activity Explanation:
-First person in each line you sprint to the cone patterns and place a penny on top of cone.
-Then you sprint back to your line and tag teammate that goes next to place a penny on the cone.
-Once you have your color pennies in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line then your team wins and collects 5 pts.
-As we move from level to level the harder the level the more points you can get.
-1st =5pts
-2nd= 10 pts
-3rd= 15 pts
-4th= 20pts
-5th= 30 pts
-After each activity, we have them rest for at least 2 minutes so that we can get started with the next activity.
-At the end the teams with the highest point total win and receive a small trophy for the win and team effort.
-
-For example, We normally break our competition into two separate days where it won’t affect the players periodization for that period in the season therefore levels 1 and 2 will be day 1 and 3 and 4 will be day 2. We can alternate however we want which at times we do also.
-Each game ranges in terms of the time it takes for players to score so in general the activity with two different levels takes about 15 minutes since we have to explain, teams talk as to what order they will go etc.
