Method: Combination play using both feet

Coaching Points:

  • Set up using 3 players, 2 setters and one striker.
  • Player A plays into striker, striker plays back using left foot.
  • Striker checks around pole to receive next pass from Player A on the right foot.
  • Striker plays into Player B who then sets striker for strike on goal.
  • Rotate positions.
  • Look for good weight of pass, checking of the pole and using both feet.
Progression:
  • Pass back using right foot first then switch play with left foot.
