SET UP:
groups of 3 ideal, try to avoid lines
3 cones set up in a triangle 5 yards from the start line
triangle set up = 5 yards apart
OBJECTIVE
players dribble to first cone, toe taps, tik toks, outside inside dribble, then make a 1v1 move
dribble to the 2nd cone do a turn inside cut/outside cut, sole rolls, maradonna
dribble to the 3rd cone do another 1 v1 move
scissors, step over, matthews, croqueta, feint, feint to a sole roll etc

SET UP
Create a small pitch width of the 18 yd box
36 yards in length
2 nets (36 yards apart)
2 markers at the halfway point about 10 yards apart
2 keepers 4 players per line (if there are more players per line have them do simple ball mastery skills, toe tap, tik toks, Brazilian toe taps, sole rolls, inside, outside touches etc.
OBJECTIVE
Blue and red players go at the same time, they dribble towars marker at center and complete a move that the coach chooses
they then shoot at target once move is completed.
Progress to allow players to be creative and alow them to do whatever move they wish.
PROGRESSION
progress from a 1 v 0 to a 1v1
Red player dribbles towards center marker completes a move and shoots at target, once the shot is taken BLUE player goes line goes, RED player
then sprints to the other center marker where red then defends the blue player in a 1 V 1
Players rotate lines

Change direction sell your move
change pace, make your move and go to goal
be alert game speed is quick, don't stand around attack if defender is slow,
defender transition from your 1 v 0 to 1 v 1 quickly

SET UP
-15x15 grid
- 2 colors, Red's line up straight across from each other and blue are straight across from each other as well
OBJECTIVE
-Red's start with ball
-Blue send in 1 defender.
-Red attacks blue defender in a 1 v 1 situation, Red tries to beat defender and make a pass to a red teammate.
-If Red's are successful the player that received the pass thgen attacks the same defender and tries to beat them and play a pass to the next red player.
-If Blue intercepts the pass or gains possession of the ball they then play the ball to their blue teammate and then red defends.
-This is continuous, quick play, quick transition
COACHING POINTS
ATTACKING
-change pace
-change direction
-play a pass
-If you lose the ball transition to Defense asap
DEFENDING
-close space
-Jockey
-force tp 1 side
-step in and challenge when you can win the ball
-when you win the ball transition with a pass to a teammate

OBJECTIVE
2 passes to 3
3 passes to 4
4 passes to 5
5 goes 1v1 with 4.
rotate where you play the ball to.
5 (top line) becomes keeper
4 goes to line #2
