Phillips is then left 1v1 with Barella, but must also stay within reach of cutting out Jorginho's passing lanes blocking from behind. England's back 3 can't interject because they are pinned to the halfway line by Italy's front three.

Barella (ITA, RCM) makes blindside movement in behind losing his marker Phillips (ENG, LDM) momentarily, triggered by Bonucci's first touch.
