1v1 to 3 goals

In this session we will revisit the skills introduced in the last session as a way of continuing to hone those techniques.

This session will focus pimarily on dribbling to go forward.

This exercise provides many options for use of the concept of forward because there are three options towards which to attack.

The ball starts with the server playing a ball into the middle of the grid, the two players will fight for it and will need to use positive and direct dribbling in order to go forward to score in a goal.

There will be multiple games going on at the same time in order to provide traffic and increase repeptions.

1v1 activity

This exercise encourages positive and direct dribbling because the player must get outside of the box before they can shoot on goal.

Ball starts with the server who will play one of the players, to initiate a 1v1.

Game is directional so the blues will go to the right and the reds will go to the left.

Must dribble outside of the grid in order to shoot.

Encourage direct attacking play in order to go forward and play forward.

Endzone Game

Game is 5v5 + 2 Neutral Players

We want to have space to create 1v1 attacking situations and encourage attackers to be positive and dribble towards a goal. In this situation they must dribble into and stop the ball within an endzone in order to score.
