Working on:
Keeping the ball and stick nice in front of your body. Strong hands and with confidence.
Foot work and agility. Little steps and small moves.
Start the drill slow, it's not about speed but more about controlling the ball and your body. Once you feel comfortable you can speed things up.
Do drill for 1 min with 30 sec rest for 2-5 reps.

Set up 1 or 2 lines of cones. About a foot apart.
Use only 1 hand for these dribbles.
Left :
Hand at the top of the stick. "11 o'clock grip". See pictures.
Straight arm but don't grip stick to strong.
Small dribbles through the cones.
Right :
Hand half way on the grip. Loose grip. Stick should roll in your hand between fingers. See pictures.
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Hockey images.
Body is going to start on one side with the ball on the opposite side of the cones. Carry the ball till the gap, then pull the ball and switch sides. Forehand and backhand dribbles, 2 hands on thr stick
Keep the ball in front of your feet, make sure ball doesn't hit your feet when switching. Don't turn body to much on the backhand side. Still want to run forward not sideways

Set up 2 cones closer together and one further out on a bit off an angle.
Dribble the ball to the far cone, pull to the second cone, control ball and big pull up toward far cone.
Then dribble ball in between to wards next row of cones and repeat the process.
Set up atleast 4 rows of cones.
Body position:
Always going forward. Shoulders, hips and feet should point in the direction you are going. Don't turn your body sideways.
Don't have the ball to close to your feet.
Right arm straight, left arm slight bend in elbow.
Head up, split vision. Meaning you can see the ball and the next few cones ahead. Not just the ball and your feet.
