Organisation
Create a pitch 40 x 30 yards. Place a goal at each end.
Split players into 3 teams of 5.
Place two teams on the pitch - each team plays with a GK and 4 outfield players, in a 2-2 formation.
Remaining team is spread around the edge of the pitch - they cannot enter the field of play.
Instructions
Teams paly for 2 mins. Winning team remains in play and is joined by the third team. Losing team takes the place of the third team on the edge of the pitch.
Third team acts as neutral players - and are conditioned to cross the ball into the penalty area to create a goal scoring opportunity for the team that passed the ball to them or otherise lay the ball off.

Organisation
Set up 2 cones as above, on half a pitch.
Place players at A and create two lines of players on the half way line also use a GK.
Play commences at the line of players on the half way line.
Instructions
Players on the half way line work in pairs, with one player passing to Player A, and then both players moving to the central shaded area for a combination pass with A before sprinting to the penalty area. Player A then seeks to cross the ball into the penalty area. Both Players seek to score from the cross.
Players returns to join the line on the half way line. Player A returns to his line.
Rotate players regularyly, and alternate sides.
1) cross to be played upon the floor.
2) cross to be cut back?
3) flighted cross.
Coaching Points
1. Accurate Passing at Speed
2. Movement of Players to join the attack - and timing of runs.
3. Communication between the two attacking players.
4. Positioning of the attacking players - near post/far post? Penalty spot?
5. Movement of attacking players into the penalty area - stagger run? in unison? Switch?
6. Type of Cross - on ground or in air? Driven or lofted? location of cross - near post? far post? Pull back? Behind defence?
7. Type of finish - head, volley, half volley, drilled, placed?
Progressions
1. 2 touch pass only in combination play between Player A & Attacker
2. 1 touch pass only in combination play between Player A & Attacker
3. Introduce a Defender
4. Create a third line to come arouind the back - work in attacking teams of 3 against 2 defenders - offside rule applies - increase number of defenders to 3v3.
