Player to come throgh cones and ladder using different footwork techniques. They then recieve a volley to catch at the end of the ladder.5 Through on each technique, Volley at the end of Ladder - Vary Shots after first 10
Main Coaching Points:
*Legs -and arms pumping
*Head Up
*Set position, chest in front of toes.
Techniques:
Single Taps on Both
Double Taps on both
Sides on Both
In and out on both
Up and down on cones, hopping on ladder

15 Minutes
Goalkeeper to start on 1 knee in between 2 cones placed the length of player apart. Keeper should be 2-4 yards back depending on age/size. Keeper should then perform a half low dive onto balls placed at each cone, encourage foward movement. Keeper should then start from a standing position and repeat the drill.
Progression:
A coach/ 2nd keeper to strike the ball along the floor just to the outside of the cone.

-Dive Fowards
-Not rotating (lead hand/staying side on)
-Get low (Angle of the dive)

Key Factors
15 Minutes
Keeper is to move through cones and get across for a low diving save from the coaches strike. Shots will then vary (power, where along the goal, how quickly after goalkeeper get trogh cones)
Key Coaching points
-Foward Dive
-Dont anticiate the shot (even though you know where it is going)
-Getting down low (Angle of Dive)
-Positioning (get central ASAP)
-Getting up for rebound
To Progress:
Goalkeeper to play a 1-2 with coachand then make a low dive.
Add a Attacker who can deflect the ball and score rebounds.
