Dribbling Warm Up

Dribbling Drill to encourage use of the front, inside and outside of the boot when moving the ball.

Players dribble through the central channel at pace. Those going right dribble with accuracy and quick feet through the line of cones. Those going left, dribble at pace, changing direction as they snake through the angled cones.

1) As they dribble through the channel, they do so at a sprint pace, moving the ball with the front of the boot, using regular, light touches to keep the ball close to them, but without having to slow down.

2) Players will slow the ball down and use the inside of the foot, to keep the ball close, under control and using fast feet to move between the cones, keeping the ball controlled before sprinting out at the other end.

3) Using the outside of the foot, players will dribble with pace between the cones before sprinting back to the starting position
