WARM UP: HEADING WARS
Rock paper scissors for possession. Winer starts with ball
Player holds ball in hands and heads it over the center line into the opponents zone. The opponent must let the ball bounce before they catch it. Once they catch it, they must head the ball back from where it bounced back over the center line into the other zone. Failure to so this results in a point for the opponent. If the ball lands on the center line, play continues from the spot where it bounced

HEADING BATTLES
5x5 area of needed. Players act as goalkeepers and can use their hands at anytime.
Game is fast paced. Two teams of two, One team defends their goal. The other team of tow head juggle
until they think they can score by heading the ball over the other teams line. Strike at anytime
Juggling can be started by a quick toss to yourself or teammate. If the ball drops, the other team gains possession at where the ball dropped
Play for time or three goals

TEAM HANDBALL
Two teams play against each other. Players pass the ball with their hands. If ball drops, it becomes the other teams possession. Players can't run with the ball, they only get three steps
Can't knock balls out of hands
To score, players have to pass the ball with their hands for a teammate to head it in (U14 and above)
To score for U10-12, players have to pass the ball to their teammate (target to catch)
For U14 and above teams:
Can also play "Throw-Head-Catch
Variation:
Can play where players can run with the ball. If touched, team loses possession

WARM UP: UNOPPOSED FINISHING
Players are working on their instep ball striking technique. Use both feet
Progression;
1. Hit a stationary ball thru the center cones to the partner on other side
2. Take a touch and hit a moving ball thru the center cones to the partner the other side
3.Dribble and hit a moving ball thru the center cones to the partner on the other side
4. Dribble and hit a ball attempting to play it over your partners line (must be below the waist)
Variation: toss a ball let it bounce then play it across (Advanced groups)

DRIBBLING: UNC WARM UP
Three cones one yard apart. Two to three players dribbling at the same time. use a variety of dribbling moves, stepovers, spins and techniques thru and around the cones. Use every surface of the foot. Inside, outside, sole, instep and heal

WARM UP: SHADOW DEFENDING
In pairs, one players comes forward while the other backpeddles using defensive technique.

SOCCER TENNIS
WARM UP SOCCER TENNIS
Two teams. Use a soccer tennis net or pinnies. If the ball hits the pinnies, it is considered still in play. Play like tennis. The ball can bounce one time on your side (can adapt for younger players)
Service must begin with a volley. The ball must bounce once on the serve. After that, balls can be volleyed, headed (U14 and up). If score, continue serving. If opponents win the point, they serve. Play to 15 or 21 points win by two.
Can play where you can only score a point when you serve or rally scoring where you can score either serving or receiving
