1. have players begin by players hitting stationary balls back and forth in partners using power technique

Instructions:
Players work on striking the ball for power. Players start by trying to play the ball on the ground with laces through middle gate. Ball is stationary and even with cones. Players progress by taking prep touch towards second cone.

Organization:
Two teams. Players are paired and numbered. Cones 5 feet wide of post on each side of the goal. Forward cones are placed 25 yards away from goal.
Instructions:
Coach calls the number of the pair. The two numbered players race around the forward cone. Coach plays 2 balls. One ball for each player. The first player to score a goal for their team gets the point. First team to 7 wins each round. Players swap sides after each game.

Instructions:
Players play the propossed 1v1+1 shootout style. Player has 30 seconds to score against a defender with a keeper in goal. Player defends and then becomes GK. Teams have 5 minutes to score as many goals as they can, then teams swap.
