Objective: Develop numerous opportunities for players to strike the ball
Area: Quarter of indoor field at Campton arena
Activity: Set up circuit as shown above. 1. Player plays ball to attacking player who receives it and dribbles around mannequin and strikes on goal. All players rotate clockwise. 2. One player at a time slaloms through cones and can strike through flags into targets for 1 point or score a goal for 3 points. Keep score! 3. Players stand in front of mannequins or cones. Players should sprint in place and on coach command, prep touch and strike ball on target. 4. Player drives at goal and places ball by keeper.
Coaching Points: Proper technique for striking the ball. Ball outside of shoulders with a good prep touch. After prep touch, find target and strike through ball on goal. Encourage players to find correct positioning of non kicking foot and to try to replicate the same motion each time. Goal is to try get them to strike the ball 75 times.

Objective: Develop ability to beat player off the dribble and score using proper technique.
Area: Quarter of indoor field at Campton arena
Activity: Player battle 1v1 and try to score by beating the keeper. If player scores, they stay on. If shot is taken and missed, both players leave and new players step on.
Coaching Points: Use fake or feint to beat defender. Decision to dribble in on goal or shoot from distance. Proper technique for striking the ball. Ball outside of shoulders with a good prep touch. After prep touch, find target and strike through ball on goal. Encourage players to find correct positioning of non kicking foot and to try to replicate the same motion each time.
