Organization:
Set up a bunch of gates with cones in a 20x20 grid. Make sure to spread them out so that players don’t start to follow a pattern (like going around in a circle through the gates). Pair players up, each pair with a ball.
Instructions:
Players must try to get as many points as possible by successfully passing the ball to each other through a gate. Once they have passed the ball through one gate, they have to find another gate to go through. Each round should last about 2-3 minutes.
Coaching Points:
- Look up to find the next gate.
- Communication with partner must be present to figure out which gate they are going to.
- Passing with the inside of the foot, measure the weight of your pass.
Progressions:
1. Players must pass the ball through one gate 3 times before going to the next gate.
2. First pass must be through the middle of the gate, and the returning pass must go through the outside of the gate.

Organization: Organize a 4v4 field with two mini goals. Create 5 gates with cones as shown in the image. 3 gates along the middle line and 1 on each half.
Instructions: In order for players to be able to attack the goal they must pass the ball to each other in between the gates, AT LEAST TWICE, and they can not use the same gate twice in a row.
Coaching Points:
- Make sure to always run into space to create options.
- Do not run away from the ball.
- Pick up your head, pass with the inside.
Progressions:
Free Play scrimmage.

Organization:
Set up a grid, divided in half by a line of cones. Each cone will have a ball on top of it.
Line up players at each end of the grid facing each other. Yellow team will start with a ball by their feet.
Instructions:
The objective of the game is to try to knock the ball off the cone with the ball that they are playing/passing with. They must stay in their initial spots, players must not get close to the ball in the middle that’s on top of the cone, and they have to stay at a distance.
If a player knocks off the ball, that same player must place the ball back on top of the cone and get back to their line. Each time ball is knocked off, player gets a point, make it a competition.
Coaching Points:
Proper passing technique, it is not a shooting drill.
Make sure players are using the inside of their foot.
Locking ankles, swing through.
Toes pointing away from the body, and foot slightly elevated.
