Set Up (5 mins)

Practice Layout - The Practice will utilise 12 players from start to finish, positioned within 4 Rectangles as is highlighted on the image within the opening Practice.

1. A Large, White coned area 40m x 20m

2. Inside this 4, 10m (width) x 20m (length) rectangles (as shown on image)

3. Players will start within central strip for their Technical Practice (highlighted) with 4 players in one colour bib, 4 within another and 4 within a third coloured bib.

4. Spare Footballs located around Groups.

Technical (10 mins)

Organisation

Technical Practice

1. Players to work within three's (3) within one of the 10m x 20m

rectangles (as is highlighted) coloured bibs must be on players

but do not matter at this Stage where they stand.

2. Players to pass the ball into the Central player, who will control

the ball and then pass the ball to the other outside player.

3. Player to then face the ball once again and repeat their action,

Rotate players after 60-seconds.

1st Progression - Coach to provide some examples of how the

central player may recieve the ball (Inside, Outside, Sole) and how

they may Control the ball into the space to help them to Turn.

Progressions Tech (10 mins)

(1) Ball is played in by the outside player to the central player who

must control the ball back towards the person who passed him

the ball and set back to the outside player.

(2) The outside player to now once again pass the ball back to the

central player.

(3) The central player will then control the ball on their back foot

and pass to the opposite outside player.

Skill Practice

Following Technical Practie, Coach to immediately begin and reorganise

players following a quick transition into the image

highlighted on screen, utilising the rectangles that were in place

(just removing one of the end ones) 30m x 20m area, but adjust as

the practice develops if required.

The Practice will be 4 players vs 4 Players in the middle (Red and

Blue) and 4 Players on the outside (Yellows) Rotate Players

accordingly.

1. To score a goal the team in possession must transfer the ball

from an outside player to a central player, then to another outside

player.

2. On the outside of the grid there will be 4x common players who

can move anywhere around the grid.

Mechanics

1. Rotate players after two minutes (Different Outside Players)

2. Competition, 90-seconds mini-games each, Who can score the most points: (1) x amount of passes equals a goal (measure this

on group success)
