There will be 3/4 triangle grids set up in a square/triangle with a middle zone with balls inside. The triangles will be pointing in the direction the ball is traveling. Groups can have 3 players in them. Each square is roughly 5x5 yards, as well as in the middle.
Ball gets played in from the middle to one of the outside squares, 1 defender enters that square. The point of the triangle dictates the direction of the attackers are trying to play the ball. The objective of the defender is to not allow the team in possession to pass the ball to the other grid in the rotation. The player on the point of triangle can only play the ball backwards, they cannot open up and play in the next grid.
Points will be kept for the defending team only, the defenders gain a point of the ball is forced out or the ball is won. The defenders loss a point if the ball travels to the next grid in the rotation. If the ball does get to the next grid, the defender who was in the previous square must go to the middle again, tag a teammate to allow the next defender to enter the following grid.
After 2 minutes, the teams will rotate and a new team will be defending.
Coaching Points:
- Close down space
- Angle of approach to cut off the pass into the next grid
- Don't need to win the ball, keep the play in front of you

One line beside the goal (the defenders), and 2 lines in front of the goal (attacker lines).
The defender will pass the ball to one of the attacker, the attackers will try to score while the defender attempts to stop them.
Coaching Point:
- Close down quickly
- Don't need to immediately win the ball
- Angle of approach to cut out what hurts us (try to turn this into a 1v1 instead of a 2v1)

Triangle Pressure
Each triangle will have 4 players working with it. 3 players will find a point each while the last player starts in the middle.
The defender in the middle dictates when the ball is passed to the next person. The defender will curve their run towards the player with the ball (dictating the direction the pass will go). Once the defender gets close enough, they can tell the player with the ball to pass to the next player in the triangle. The defender must then defend the next player with the ball. However, the defender must cut out the pass going back to that same player (so the ball can't go back to where it came from), which means the defender must curve their run while they approach the attacker on the ball in a way to cut out the pass backwards. Again once the defender is close enough, they can say pass. The defender is not trying to win the ball. After a minute, the players will rotate and a new defender will be in the middle.
Progression:
- It now becomes a small possession game, players on the outside must pass the ball around the triangle, it cannot go through. However, the point system is based around the defender. If the defender wins the ball they get +1 point, but if the ball goes back to where it came from -1. The defender is trying to stay at 0 points, as they don't have to win the ball. But they cannot allow that ball to go backwards.
Coaching Points:
- Angle of approach (cut out a passing lane while you run towards attacker)
- Once you are at the attacker, you don't need to win the ball. Stay low, feet staggered shoulder width apart
