Primary objective to build up / playing through lines: Get ball to the 6, facing opponent goal. Secondary objective: Get WB behind lines wide.
Shape: Have players staggered between lines.
Option 1: 2 steps forward, 1 step back. 2 examples shown, short and long. Make good use of spin out after "drop".
Option 2: GnG / Overlap with WB.

If opponent has 3 MFs, then one of the other MFs, e.g., the 7, should be open when the defender engages the 6.
If opponent has 4 MFs, then a WB, e.g., the 3, should move up and add the overload in the MF.

In Attacking 3rd, Primary target is the Attacking Mid.
AM must shift from side to side, creating overloads, staying between lines.
7/8 play in the half space to create / receive overloads / pass-backs.
