Knock it down-
In pairs with two cones in the middle and each cone has a ball on it- can they hit the ball at the cone and knock it off.
Coaching points for a hit-
Ball level with back heal
acceleration in wrist to create power
Look at the where the ball was after making contact- kiss the right shoulder this stops head coming up
Imagine trying the hit 4 balls one in front of the other- its the 4th ball your actually hitting

Power shooing-
In the goal set up cones with balls on top- bowling ally style
Player receives a pass and then shoots.
If excelling- then once they have made the short pass they become the defender
If need more time- dribble own ball forwards and shoot - no pass

The Swap!
With one ball they have to hit back and forth and try and get over the oppositions back line- however the ball has to be hit hard enough to go through the swap.
If the ball goes in the swap - that person has to come out- do 10 keep ups with stick and ball and then join back in! Which mean less players to defend the ball.
Q- how can you stop the ball getting so far into your zone? (and bounce the next part) Why does this help you?

Match Play- Focus on hitting for a goal
If score by hitting the ball into the goal = double points
If win the ball back in the attacking half = extra point
Q- Why do we want to win the ball higher up the pitch? (recap on previous aspect) However what does this mean if they then win back?
