Movement Variations (10 min).
Field Setup:
4 lanes, cones placed 8 steps apart.
1) Coach calls "GO"
2) Players perform the specific movement at the second cone before accelerating to the last cone.
1) Drop Shoulder.
2) Stepover.
3) V-Turn.
4) Combination of movements.
Competition: First player to the end cone wins.

Shooting (20 min).
Field Setup:
2 teams, set up according to video.
Switch the attacking & defending team after 5 min.
1) The yellow attacking team are positioned slightly ahead of the red defending team.
2) The yellow player drives with the ball as fast as possible to the pole; the yellow players first touch is the signal for the red player to begin their run to block the shot.
3) The yellow player must drive past the righthand side pole before he/she can shoot.
4) The red player must run on the lefthand side of the pole before blocking the shot.
5) Once a player has shot they must collect their ball.
Competition: Which team can score the most goals in 5 minutes.
If a defender can successfully block a shot, he/she is awarded a point.
Note: This drill needs to be run fast so players are not waiting in line for too long.

Small sided game (20 mins).
2 teams on, 1 team resting.
Feild set up:
24 steps wide.
36 steps long.
Small enough so players can shoot from anywhere on the pitch.
Big goals.
Deepest player can use their hands when saving a shot.
1) Balls will always start from the goal (when the ball goes out).
2) 3 minute games.
Note: Promote dribbling and shooting!!

Progression: Weak foot.
