Ball Manipulation Drill
Each players has a ball, 20y by 20y area.
Players dribble their ball around the area, manipulating it in different directions. When coach shouts:
1) Players have to do toe taps
2) Players have to do side to sides
3) Players have to chance direction
4) Players have to do scissors
Play for 20 minutes

Dribbling and Passing Relay.
Set up as above. 1 ball per line.
Player dribble round the centre cones and once they get to the end pass it to the the player opposite and join the back of the line.
Players have to use one foot (stronger) and then progress to use weakest foot.

Cops and Robbers
Red players erach have a soccer ball, blues are the taggers.
Reds are the robbers and are looking to protect their soccer ball from the cops (blues). This is a knockout competition and if the blue takes a red's soccer ball and put into the bank (the 3 cone triangle) they are out. The red's if they lose their ball can win it back before the ball goes into the triangle.
When their are only 3/4 left in the game half the area to make it harder. If you have a lot of player, the first three players who are out can become cops.
Play three games.

Split the group into 2. Set up like above. Once players get back to where they started they can stop. If they are waiting make sure they are bouncing on their toes. Wait 2 seconds after the person in front has gone before the next person can go.
The exercises are:
1) High knees, one foot in each ladder, use arms to propel your body
2) Fast feet, 2 feet in each ladder
3) Side to sides, side on, 1 foot in each ladder
4) Slalom/in and outs, players move side to side through the ladders
