Possession with Direction
Team in possession looks to complete 3 passes before looking to switch the ball to the opposite side. As soon as the ball is played to the opposite grid, 3 players must join to support the player on the ball. If the defender manages to win the ball, they look to score, if they do this they get 3 points. After 1 min 30 swap the one defender.
Progressions
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Team in possession looks to complete 3-5 passes based on your teams skill level and pass into the opposite side. Every time they do this they get 1 point. The team who is pressing, looks to either win the ball or disrupt the play. If they win the ball they look to score in the small mini goal for 3 points, if they disrupt the team i.e. they kick it out of bounds the team in possession lose 1 point. Play for 3 minutes and then rotate who the 4 defenders are.

Technical Foundations
Red players are looking to dribble into each square without losing possession of their soccer ball. Once they dribble into each square, they will focus on completing a skill - Cruyff turn / inside turn / outside turn before then attempting to dribble into a next square. The blue players will act as defenders, will look to win the ball in a 1v1 situation. Blue player can not enter the grid.
Progressions - Increase defenders. Make a small grid centrally for the players to go into also.
Coaching Points - emphasis on maintaining possession, changing speed and direction, encourage the moves being practiced in the square, also in the open play.
