Organization:
-Field size: 30 x 30yds.
-5, 2 x 2 x 2 triangle in the area.
-Every player, except 5 players, has a ball.
Instructions:
-3 players are "it" and are holding a ball.
-5 players without a ball are standing in the triangles.
-Every other player has a ball at their feet to dribble.
-Only 1 player can be in a triangle at a time.
-The players holding the ball are trying to hit the ball of the players dribbling (make sure players only throw the ball below the knee of other players).
-If your ball gets hit while dribbling, you pick up your ball and are now "it", the other ball now dribbles around the area.
-The triangles are safe and a ball cannot get hot while in the triangle.
-Players must pass to a player standing in the triangle.
-Players who receive the ball must exit the triangle a different way then where they received the pass.
Coaching Points:
1. Can players take a positive first touch away from pressure.
2. Continue to use proper technique as speed of play increases.
