Football/Soccer Session (Moderate): Scanning and movement technique work.

Technical work

1. Ball played to and from the player on the outside. Play 2 touch and play back to same player.

Must check into box in one direction and check out the opposite side, Progress to opening up, playing the ball long and making a good dynamic run through to recieve and turn again.

2. Players now have green and red cards. 1 ball per group. Ball is played in to player in the middle who must check shoulder before recieving ball to check which color card is being held up. Ball gets played back to outside player who then plays the ball long who repeats with player on opposite side. Must Sprint outside to one of the cones as long pass is being hit.

3. 1 v 1 competition time. Now playing for points. Players on end still have cards. As ball is played in from 1 end, player recieving the ball must check shoulder and try to get the ball to far end. If they can only play back they get 1 point. if they can lose the player, open up and play longer, the gain 2 points.
