Ball Handling
Aim
To give the GK's as much time as possible getting both hands onto the ball and securing it with the view to starting an attacking play, if they put it out for a corner they are still defending!!

Scoop
Aim
We want to try to encourage the GK's to get to their feet as quickly as possible, especially when they have not collected the ball
Instructions
The GK will start on his line and facing c1.
The ball is to be placed directly to the GK which he will scoop

Instructions
The GK will start on his line facing out.
On command, he will move over to the near post to try and stop the cut back from c1. If he fails to do this can he get in front of the ball in time?
Progression
1. Once the GK has moved, c2 can move back or forward (as the GK cannot see him) to order to receive the pass
2. The ball will start with c3 and the GK has to now move relative to the ball's position

Dizzy
Aim
To force a series of movements to put the GK under pressure while still expecting him to secure the ball
Instructions
The GK will start on the red marker in the centre of the goal
On command, he will move forward to save the shot from c1 (which can be on or off the ground)
Progression
1. After the GK has saved the shot from c1 he has to move over the goal for a shot from c2.
Before this he has to go back and touch the red marker again
2 GK moves straight from c1 to c2

Triangle
Aim
To have the GK making quick foot movements and setting for a shot on goal
Instructions
The GK will start on the rear marker facing out
On command, he will move forward to the 1st marker and set for the shot from c1 (to the right).
The GK will then rise to his feet, move backwards and tough the red marker before moving forward and setting at the other red marker for the shot from c2 (to the left)
(6 saves in total)
Progression
The coaches will move back and the shots can go to any position in the goal

A GK has to leave from the corner, 1 at a time and collect 1 cone and return this to his team before the next GK can move
