Techincal handling
3x3 boxbox
Instructions:
Server calls out forward or backward, GK uses feet to move either forward or backward to cone then sets back in middle of square for serve from server
Gk can go left or right, alternate sides though
8 reps then rotate
All service off ground, vary heights/ difficulty of service to change outcomes
Coaching Points:
Quality of set positon
Efficiency of movement
Speed of movement
Contour
Arms away from body
Thumbs behind the ball
Hold ball still where its caught
Don't drop hands
Basket
Slight step into the ball
Hand Position under the ball
Fingers pointing towards the ball
Impact on forearms
Close hands into chest to secure the ball into body
Progressions/Regressions:
GK moves forward or backward around left or right cone instead of just to cone
Come forward to smother or high ball

Footwork across goals
Goalkeeper side shuffles out to post, side shuffles back into middle - low in set position
Server delivers a shot to the opposite side for the goalkeeper to make a diving save:
-Collapsing Save
-Low Diving Save
-Mid-height Save
Repeat on both sides.
Notes:
Ball of feet

Collect into chest
Elbows tucked in
Goalkeeper moves across goal as previously mentioned.
SET as server draws to shoot.
Use correct diving techniques to make the save.
