Players split into groups of three with two balls for each group. One player is in the middle. The other two set up at a 90 degree angle as servers. The middle player alternates taking rolling serves and one touch passing back back to the serve. The player alternates left and right foot. Emphasize proper techinique with inside of foot, ankle locked, with toe pointed up. After a minute, rotate to next player. Emphasize form over speed. Encourage building up speed if/when player gets a rhythm.

One player from each end of drill speed dribble toward the cone defender in the middle. Emphasize pigeon-toed dribble with laces/pinky toe. 1 1/2 to 2 steps from the defender the dribble uses an inside cut move to beat the cone defender to the right. After beating the defender, the attacker then passes the ball to the other line and follows to the back of the line. Follow with an inside cut with the right foot and then outside cuts with each foot. Emphasize selling the move with body and eyes. Emphasize exploding out of the move and using near arm to ward off the defender so the defender cannot quickly recover. Show the players that these simple moves can be used as they are but can also be building blocks for scissor or step over moves.

1v1 to end lines. Player on one end of grid passes across to the other. That player advances and attempts to win by dribbling under control across opposite end line. Defender can steal and win by advancing across other endline. Encourage players to use dribbling moves worked on earlier in session.
