Defender Aim: To delay attack & wait for No 2 defender (red) to make recovery run. Function starts with No 1 defender passing to one of two attackers. Attackers briefed to attack & get shot on target. Defenders to deny scoring opportnity or force attackers outside coned area. 2nd defender(red) joins in once any blue attacker touches ball

Defender Aim: To show attackers wide (outside flat cones) win ball, stop crosses and defend any crosses into penalty box. Attackers briefed to attack down the wing & get crosses into the box. If defending win the ball, attempt to play out or pass into small goals.
