Organization:

- 10 yards between partners.
Instructions:
- Players strike the ball with given surface throught the gate for points.
- Partners can play competitively or cooperatively.
Coaching Points:

- Players must strike moving ball from behind line
- Winners move up / down. Create tournament format.

Organization:
- As shown. Line A: Shooter, Line B: GK
Instructions:
- Player A (white) drives at cones, perform move on cones and strike at goal.
- Player B (red) is the goalkeeper, retrieves ball and goes to line A.
- Teams play to given amount of goals.
Coaching Points:
- Technique of move / touch out of feet.
- Head up / Head down to observe GK / target
- Technique to strike (toe down, contact point, etc.)
- Follow through
Progressions:
- Players must shoot in given amount of touches / from certain distance.
- Players from post serve and play 1v1 + GK in net.

Organization:
- Players in pairs (ball / player)
- Both players begin in gate, one standing behind the other as shown facing the goal.
Instructions:
- Player A (white) passes the ball through player B's legs.
- Player B turns and drives at goal for a breakaway.
- As soon as player B shoots, he becomes a defender and player A tries to score against player B and the GK.
- Next group begins
- Both players retrieve a ball and return to line.
Coaching Points:
Breakaways
- Judging the weight of the ball
- Observing and judging the speed of the GK (is the chip on? Or slide past him either side)
- Can you finish early?
- Can you look to unbalance the GK and if so can you exploit by taking a bigger touch.
1v1 to goal
- Technique of 1v1 w/ pressure in front.
- Recognition of pressure and goalkeeper's position (size and angle of touch to get in behind or open up a shooting lane)
- Quality of strike (angle of approach, foot / ball contact point, proper follow through depending on technique, etc.).

- Normal game (4v4).
Instructions:
- End of camp: MLS Playoffs / 2015 Copa America / Gold Cup / World Cup etc.
- Each player is playing; Use PUGS / cones for posts and make extra fields if needed.

- Coaching how to play in 4v4 and how having a big goal / GK may change how you play.

Warm Up (Cannon Ball Run) (15 mins)
Organization:
- As shown.
Instructions:
- Players try to reach other side of area without being hit by a cannon ball (soccer ball)
- Coach attempts to hit players below the knee.
- If a player is hit below the knee, he becomes a cannon ball shooter alongside coach.
Coaching Points:
- Technique to strike
- Emphasis on keeping ball on ground.
Progressions:
- Mulitple layers to becoming shooter (losing one leg, etc.).
