Set up
Place 3 cones in a wide triangle with a cone approximately 3 yards away. Have 3 players per station each with a ball.
Organization
On the instructor's command, the first player dribbles to the front cone, performs a dribbling move, accelerates to one of the outside cones, and then quickly changes direction to return to the start.
The coach breaks down a variety of moves to perform, such as Side Step, Double Side Step, Scissors Step, Drag and Push, Drag Scisssor Push etc
Progressions
Make it competitive - First team to get through 10 turns. Have players go both left and right for each turn.

Speed of dribble, change of driection, acceleration after turn, close control, shift weight after turn

Set Up
15 x 20 yard grid with 2 gates positioned at the end of the grid about 3 yards in width.
Organization
2 players act as defenders and 3 players act as attackers. On the instructor's command, the first defender plays a pass into the first attacker and they go 1v1. If the attacker dribbles through either of the 2 gates, it's worth 1 point and that player remains in the attacking group. If the attacker is dispossessed, the attacker joins the defending group and the defender joings the attacking group. If defender wins the ball they can counter by dribbli g through red gate.

Set up
Set up a 30x40 yard grid with two goals as shown
Organization
Black team plays 2v1 against the white team. to try and score on the goal. Upon either scoring or losing possession one black player must then step out of the grid to defend the next 2 white players who attack the opposite goal. Rotation continues. Make the drill competitive. Shaded area is an optional line that can be added where players must dribble into opposition area before shooting
Progressions
Move on to 3v2. Two attackers must stay to defend the next attack
Coaching Points
Recognition of when to dribble and when to pass, dribble at speed, control while dribbling, acceleration after turn, role of second and third attackers - overlaps, give and goes, moveemnt to free up space fro player with ball.

Field 40 X 30 with regular goals as shown.
Organization
Teams will play 6 v 6 including Goalkeepers. Regular scrimmage game with emphasis on the topic. Allow game to be free play but enforce coaching points of the day.
Coaching Points
All of points portrayed throughout the session should be enforced in a game situation.

Organization
As players arrive for practice get them moving into small sided games early. Build up to two 3v3 games alongside each each other. Players are encouraged to have free play with no one touch soccer. Try to keep teams even for competitive games and rotate opponents every 3-4 minutes.
