Objective: To improve our understanding and ability to create chances and convert in opposition half centrally.
Where: Opposition half central area
Who: In above attacking and midfield units
Organisation:
8 cones
12 bibs (4 red,4 yellow,4 blue)
2 areas 20x50 with end zone
9 flat cones to create zonal line ( see red line above )
Time: 1 set 4 reps 4 minutes . Recovery coaching points 60 seconds total time 20 minutes.
Description:
Game starts with red team or keeper playing to yellow.
Red is defending.
Rules
(1) Red are defending team until they win the ball and RWTB into end zone
(2) yellow team but build up play successfully, enter 18 yard area and score
(3) if ball goes out serve quickly into middle
(4) rotate turns but if defending team is successful rotate with another team.
Coaching Points:
Good first touch get ball out from under feet.Isolate and drive at opponent, second last touch should be your trigger to go past opponent,make him a statue.
Quality of passes, shots.
Desicion making if you get to end line.
Communicate on inside laps and outside.
Progression start with 9 in with defenders.
