S&B Warm-up

1v1 continuous with different angles of attack

Player 1 uses elimination skills to get across playing pitch

As soon as player 1 is through, Player 2 attacks from different angle

Defender adjusts body position to deal with change of angle

Change defender every 5 attacks

Progress: 2v2 continuous

Merge 2 square (make the square a bit bigger)

Goal scoring 1

1v1 with numbers build-up

Pair A race to edge of D, touch circle edge and race back to cone to collect ball

First player to ball is the attacker and plays until ball is in goal/over baseline/win a PC/ defender gets ball out of 5m line. 

Both players stay in D to create 2v2

Pair B repeats 1v1 - first player to ball = attacker and replicates RH Baseline drive to connect with team mate from Pair A

Once ball is dead, Pair C (left shoulder attack) repeats and plays 3v3

Once ball is dead, all players out of D and Pair 1 begin again

Pair 2 attack LH baseline and Pair 3 attack R shoulder

Rotate players so everyone attacks from different angles

Scramble to Score

Set up 2 boxes on the sides of the pitch for 2v2 possession games (make them longer if you need to have a 3v3) making sure there is a pathway through the middle of the pitch

Name the boxes (eg Tiger Box and Lion Box)

2v2 in the boxes until coach calls either Tiger or Lion. Player with the ball in that box can decide which side to attack and other players in that box join the game for a 3v3

If defending team win the ball, they can counter to opposite goals

6v6 with conditions

Ideas:

1 touch by defensive team = immediate turnover of possession

Every penalty must be taken within 3 seconds

One team can only pass forward

One team can score from anywhere on the pitch

Players cannot stand in one position for longer than 4 seconds

All players may not run in a straight line for further than 3m - encourage weaving etc

Players get locked into the zone they are currently in and may not move out

For every save a goalkeeper makes, that team earns a point

Blue Team defending. Yellow Attacking. Red Team at gates

Coach feeds ball into Yellow team who try to score. 

Blue team try to win ball and get ball through gates to Red Team to win a point

10 balls per team to see how many goals/Pcs are scored
