Session Objective:
Practice shooting technique and attacking the net.

Organisation:
Split into 2 groups.
Players lined up with a ball each.
Net will be appropriate distance for shooting.
10min
Activity:
Player will pass ball to coach (red cone), who will then lay off ball for player to run onto and shoot on net. Player will then collect ball/or a different ball and head to back of line.
Coaching Points:
Players will focus on contact with laces or inside of foot, their approach to ball and hitting target (open net).
Emphasis on no toes punting for now.

Organisation:
Half the group by the net. Half at the middle of half field.
Place all balls by the net for the "defenders".
Coach can be in net or at side of net to give feedback and indicate next pair can go.
10-15min.
Activity:
Players by the net with a ball - one at a time will touch ball out of feet and pass to the striker. Stricker will receive and proceed to dribble to net and attempt to shoot and score. Player that passed ball will affect as a defender (decide if they are a passive defender)
Once the play is done (ball goes out, defender wins ball or striker scores), defender will head to striker line at top of box and striker will collect their ball and head to the defender line.
Coaching Points:
Assure girls on focused on their goal - striker to remember to use laces to shoot or inside foot to shoot.
Defender to recover ball quickly and stay goal side to striker.

Coaching Points:
Focusing on quick recovery after we lose the ball and proper shooting techniques. Also reminding players about using space and spreading out.

Organisation:
Partner up, one ball per partner. Standing across from each other, start from an appropriate distance apart and move back as needed.

Activity:
Practicing contact with the laces. Non-kicking foot placement - beside the ball pointed straight and follow through with laces.
Coaching Points:
Leaning over the ball, foot planted beside ball and laces pointed down.
Tony Chestnut - Toe-Knee Chest-Nut (over the ball when shooting).
If players need to advance - practice leaning back a bit to get ball off ground.
