Main Moment - Ball Possession 

Key Principle -  Breaking down an organized opponent 

What -  The Opponent is organized in a shape that's compact and organized and we need to use combination play to break them down and create a goalscoring opportunity 

Who - #6 #8 #10 #9 #11 and #7 

When - in the middle third when we are trying to progress to the final third 

Where - In opposition half 

Why - Because the opponent has made it hard for us to create a goalscoring opportunity 

Session objective/Team Task - Are we able to deny the opponent from creating a clear goalscoring opportunity

Player Tasks 

#9 and #10 - If the ball is played to you and you are not facing forward can you play the way you face 

#7 and #11 - Can you engage the #2 and #5 and drag them narrow 

#7 and #11 - Are you able to go into a position where if the ball is played to you you can play #10 or #9 

#10 and #9 - Can you make a run that gets you in front of the goal 

#7 and #11 - Can you make a run to create space for #10 or get into a goalscoring position 

#6 and #8 - Can you play a pass that makes a defender face their own goal 

#10 - Can you play a pass that makes defenders face their own goal 

#8 - Can you make a run into open space to disrupt opposition shape 

#3  and #4 - Can you go into a position where you can be played when 

#7 and #11 - Can you go into a position where it becomes hard for #2 and #5 to press you
