TAIL TAG
Set up a 15 x 15 area to play Tail Tag
Players place a bib in the back or side of their shorts, ensuring there is enough hanging out to create a tail.
Players must try and steal each others tails and collect as many tails as possible.
Players can not stand still !! if a player is standing still, yell out their name and they must drop their tail on the ground. Free tail ! anyone can pick up a tail that is on the ground and add it to their collection.
Play for 5 minutes. Players who do not have a tail at the end of the 5 minutes have to do 5 push ups!

Progression - start with 2 players ho do not have tails
Play for 5 minutes. Players who do not have a tail at the end of the 5 minutes have to do 5 push ups!
COACHING POINT
- encourage players to turn their body to protect their tail

JUGGLING!!!Juggles are fundamental in developing touch on the ball.
Spend 15 minutes at the start of the session challenging players to complete juggles.
Set some goals
- most juggles consecutively
- most juggles in total (if you drop the ball, continue counting from the same number)
Encourage players to juggle with different parts of their body.
COACHING POINTS
- show kids which part of the foot is best to juggle with - i.e laces of your boot.
encourage/ show good technique, use kids who excel as examples
- if kids struggle, get them to drop the ball onto their foot and then try to catch it again - then progress juggling amount.
