*Arrows for players involved on and around ball only*
1. Short pass to CB
-7, 9 & 11 shift across, rest of the team shift to stay in shape
2. CB dribbles forward into wide channel *Trigger to press*
-9 Curves run to block off option back/inside forcing wider towards sideline
-11 drops back to stay level with opposing FB, once blocked off wide channel can move forward to press if 3 & 5 have FB and winger covered in wide channel
-7 once 9 has closed option back or inside tuck inside to occupy space in front of 6 & 8 (double pivot)
-10 stay man to man on closest inside option
-8 Once 9 has cut off options drop in with 6 as double pivot
-6 shift across to cover option into opposing 9's feet, now double pivot with 8
-3 drop back ready to anticipate ball over to opposing winger in wide channel, if opposing winger tucks in centre back communicate if they can be passed on, if so move up to opposing FB and tell near side winger to press CB

*Trigger when 9 leaves mid block to close off options back for opposing player (CB in this example)
Example: Short pass to CB, takes space whilst we shift across in mid block
Pressing pair- 9 & near side winger
-9 curves run behind centre back closing option off to other CB and keeper
-11 curves run round to close off option out wide to FB forcing opposing CB into making fast decision
-7 creeps forward if 9 fails to stop switch, once we have forced to wide channel 7 drops back to join temporary double pivot
1st Covering pair- 10 & near side full back
-10 shadows 9's run closing angle for option inside (can follow opposing player or use cover shadow to 'swarm' CB)
-Near side FB shadows near side winger to close option opposing FB
2nd covering pair/trio- 6 & 8 + far side winger
-Near side pivot (6 in example) Moves wide to cover winger
-Far side pivot (8 in example) Moves central to cover space in front of CB's
-Far side winger moves to make up temporary double pivot once 9 has closed off possibility of switch
Balancing trio- 4 & 5 + far side FB
-Shift across field to cover central channel, near side CB may have to follow opposing ST if they make wide channel run
