conditioned game (25 mins)

Conditioned game set up to encourage quick 1 touch play in and around opposition box.

Conditions

Normal game until ball is in your team's attacking third.

When ball is in attacking third- 1 touch maximum.

At beginning of game, defenders are half active as success is required prior to making area competitive.

key points

Movement (initial and following ball arriving in attacking third) is vital to be able to receive pass.

Body must be positioned to release ball on first touch into correct area.

Weight of pass important to allow team mates to continue 1 touch play.

Whenever required, ball should be played in path of player rather than direct static pases to feet.
