Practice Organisation:
*Two squares set up one square inside the other.
*Players stand on a pole in the middle, and everyone else on the outside.
*Player A passes the ball into Player B, he sets the ball to Player C, who plays the ball out to Player D. The is a continious practice and the pattern follows.
Progressions:
1. Add in a second football.

7 v 7 or 8v8 with targets, playing to wide goals
Progression 1: Players in the wide zones cannot be defended until the first touch. Target has 2 touches. Goal is scored by players dribbling through the gates.
Progression 2: Changing the ball from one vertical half to another before scoring is a bonus point. Gates are now changed to small sided goals.
Progression 3: Playing the ball into target and a first time set is a bonus on the goal

40 x 30 yard area. 6 v 6 with 2 floating players. Teams can only score from a cross. We focus on getting the ball wide early and into the corners. Wide players having good delivery, timing of runs in the box and finally move onto overlapping runs, along with good technique on the finish.
Progressions:
1. Must Score from a cross with the wide men unopposed.
2. Must score from a cross from an overlapping run.
Coaching Points:
1. Try to get the ball wide early.
2. Quality passing.
3. Patient on the build up, if under pressure.
4. Good quality on the cross.
5. Try to attack with good technique.
6. Hit the target.
