Set Up: Play 2 v 2 to end players - use neutral side players to create wall pass if teamate is not available. Play 2 min and roate

4 v 4 + NP Wall Pass (20 min)
Set Up: Green play to goal, orange play to targets. Neutral creates 2 v 1 situation for team in possesion. Goals count as double after wall pass. 18 is the offside line

6 v 6 + 1 Wall Passing to Penetrate (15 min)
Set Up: Expanded Small Sided Game. OSL (Off Side Line) set up to encourage quick return balls before runner receives offside. Double goals off wall pass. Connect 5 passes before shooting, reset when goals scored.

Objective: Improve ability to recognize and execute wall pass
Equipment: 20 cones, 14 balls, 7 yellow bibs, 10 orange bibs, 1 blue bib
Set Up: 5 groups of 2 moving and passing in unrestricted space
Demonstrate wall pass & options.
Procedure:
1. Player with ball dribbles at open cone. Partner moves into a support position to create a wall pass around the cone (defender).
Coaching Points: Commit defender, support player gives good angle for pass, weight of 1st pass, player accelerates through.
Progression: Create 2-3 defenders (holding a bib). Partners look to "wall out" defenders to score points. When defenders win the ball the bib is given to the attacking player who lost possession.
