Description

Why-to improve accuracy to try and strike a ball using the laces in different angles.

What- to learn the proper technique to take a shot using the laces

Where- Attacking third

Who- Player with the ball

When- having a clear and close view of the goal and the Gk

-How- non-kicking foot next to the ball using the laces, striking the middle of the ball. (Striking through the middle of the ball with laces).

Introduction (10 mins)

Organization: Cones, Balls, Setup as shown

2 lines (A & B)- 6/10 players behind the cones
GK
Every player with a ball
Blue line (12 yards apart from goal)

Instructions:

- 1st player from Line A and Line B go at the same time. The most take a shot using their laces before the blue line. The player that scores first, gets the point

Main Activity (30 mins)

Organization:

-2 Mini Goals and 1 Big goal with a GK

-Each player with a ball

Instructions:

Each team given a goal to score on

-1st Player from Line A, shoots before the red cone (12 yards apart), if he/she scores gets a point and then immediately becomes Defender on opposite goal

-After player A shoots, player B immediately attacks the opposing goal and looks to score. If he/she is able to take a shot but misses gets one point, if he/she score gets 2 points. If player A steals the ball from player B, he/she can score on the opposite goal for an extra point

-Then next player goes

- Rotate (if you were on line a, go to line b)

-Focus on proper technique

-Quick transition mentality to score as quick as you can

-Create space to take a shot

-Technical actions related to ball striking

- Look at the GK position before taking the shot

Yellow and red team have a chance to make double points if they score before the blue cone. If they score after they pass the blue cone, only 1 point.
