Football/Soccer Session (Beginner): Third Player Run - Build Up To Finish

Description

-Players work in groups of threes,in a passing pattern to focus on third player runs.

-Player starts with the ball, andplays it across to their team mate. At the same time, the third player makesthe run around the starting player, to seek to receive it at the next cone up.

-As the ball travels to the thirdplayer, the original passer makes their third player run around the firstreceiver, in order to be in position on the next set of cones to receive theball.

-Once received, the third playerpasses the ball across to the original passer, who now looks to play into theoriginal receiver, who will have made the third player run.

-Once players have worked their wayup the diagram, they then seek to lay off for a finish at the end, beforebringing their ball back down to restart the cycle.
